The first NeST PhD/PRDA Research Day was held on the 17 July 2024 at Imperial College London (ICL).

There were nine speakers from across the partner universities with the aim of sharing their work and connecting to other NeST researchers: Alexander Modell (Postdoc, ICL), Exploratory Analysis of Temporal Network Data; Yutong Wang (PhD Student, LSE), Autoregressive Network: Sparsity and Node Heterogeneity; Anna Calissano (Chapman Fellow, ICL), Statistical Analysis of Sets of Graphs; Raphaël Romero (Visiting PhD Student, University of Ghent), Gaussian Embedding of Temporal Networks ; Adrian Fischer (Postdoc, Oxford), New Estimators for Directional Data; Anastasia Mantizou (Turing Fellow, Oxford), Economic nowcasting with large-scale inter-industry payment data using a network approach; Lorenzo Luchesse (PhD Student, ICL), Estimation and Inference for Graph Continuous-Time Autoregressive Processes; Xianghe Zhu (PhD Student, LSE), Autoregressive Hypergraphs; and Mahmoud Khabou (Postdoc, ICL), Periodic Count Autoregressions.
